clock adjustment
for some reason it seems my clock adjustment switch does nothing.
does anyone know how to test to see if it is in fact the switch or some other problem? (I have pulled the switch from its place in the dash and there are a few wires attached to it if I made a jumper which wire to which would I connect to see if the clock adjusts at all? or what is the possibility it is definately the switch? or what else can cause an adjuster problem?)
has anyone else had this happen that has a list of things to check or how they have tested or fixed the problem?
thanks for anyones expertise on this

My switch did work - but only if I pushed it in as far as it would go, at a particular angle, held my breath, recited my favourite song backwards etc. etc. It was one of those things I meant to fix, and in 10 years never got around to. But based on mine, I'd say it's most likely to be your switch and not anything else.

Burning Brakes
checked mine with meter, it was not carrying current, got some GC Electronic contact cleaner, squirted it in, worked switch a few times and voila, ..simple fix ....no switch disassembly required
