Bosch vs Beru
I am planning on doing a thorough maintenance of the ignition system including plugs, wire, rotors and distributor caps for my 1992 C2 (964)
I found a source which sells both the Bosch and the Beru distributor caps. The Beru is much cheaper by alsmost $40 each x 2 it's a saving of almost $80.
Now, is there a major difference in performance/reliability between the two manufacturers. I know Beru has a long history of fabricating wires for Porsches, and Bosch is not too bad either. Would there be a reason for choosing the pricier Bosch over the Beru Unit?
Thanks
Stephan

Burning Brakes
When I bought my distributor caps at Design 911, the Bosch and Beru caps are only about $10 different on price:

I guess it's just a different pricing structure from their suppliers in the UK vs the USA...

Bosch = $71.50

During my recent tune-up I had Bosch caps/rotors and Beru wires installed. I originally purchased the far less expensive Bosch wires but my wrench refused to install them. I was able to return them (to Amazon) and had Pelican overnight the Berus to the shop.
