Bumping this thread… does anyone have a current source for these parts at a reasonable cost? I see a lot of providers on eBay, but I am hearing mixed results on fit and finish.

seats are out of the car, so seems like the right time to make this update.

I ordered this this kit for my seats in a 1990 964 C4 in November 2022. This is still available on the site this morning (8/7/2024). About $145 per seat, so not cheap, but I found no other sources.

Ditto. Bought from that guy and did both seats. In five years, they have not failed.

What's the current status on the best kit to do this and where to get it from? Shapeways doesn't exist any more.
Mine bushings have disintegrated and this will be a good thing to sort out over the Winter

@John McM John. My name is Daniel Vinals Deleito and I designed and made those parts. I'm glad they work well. Time ago Rennlist take down my user because it consider my message with the shapeways link is "spam" so I just create another username. Unfortunately Shapeways is out of business and is not posible access the parts. Also, I lost the original part files I designed using Autodesk Inventor. Since Shapeways went down I'm been receiving emails from people who wants the parts again, but I find there are thousands copy cats in Ebay and Amazon for cheaper, so my questions is: are any of those Chinese parts not good enough? If the answer is not, I can try to find a service with the same technology Shapeways used.

Funny story: all the Chinese parts are a copy cat of mine, because I did something in the design is not in the OEM parts, so just looking it I can tell.

Oh nice, if you're in Katy, we should meet at a PCA GTG sometime. I think the bushings in my seats are in need of replacement but unfortunate shapeways is no longer

 

what is the latest on these bushings - where can I buy these ?
