Default 964 seat bushing?

I have a 964 with electric comfort seats. The electric fore aft works on a threaded rod, the bushes for the rod have disintegrated and Porsche dont seem to make them. There are recaro labels under the seat but recaro dealer doesnt seem to have a clue. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

Have you taken a look at the Porsche seats parts catalog? They list the parts for the seat adjusters. Illustration 806-10 item #40. I have a meeting in a few minutes. I'll try to post more later.

Seat catalog = http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessori...artscatalogue/

I found the same pieces under my seats... now I know what they were.

Gotta replace those on mine as well.

Thanks for posting this

I think one needs PET to view 806-10 section... it doesn't show in the porsche usa linked parts catalog.

Would the symptom of this busing missing be a clunking forward backwards of the seat?

I have alittle movement forwards/backwards and don't really know where it could be coming from. It's only noticable in very aggressive driving (when getting of the power or hard braking can throw the seat forwards)... but I would like it fixed

You need to look at the Seat catalog, not the 964 catalog.

Duh... I can pull the seat out and take it apart, put it all together on memory, but I can't find the catalog on a page I was directed to...

Thanks Rob!

Can't figure out which part it is in the catalog... had a look at page 441 where the regular electric seat is pictured, but nothing that looks familiar at first sight.

Gotta get back to work now, so I'll look at it later tonight.

Anybody else has the same forward backward play in their seats?

Thanks. I'm getting my front seats recovered and this kit would be useful.

I have back and forth motion as well.

As I read description about this 'repair kit' I get confused. The paragraph on right seems to imply that you print the black part yourself. The description under pictures says its a kit containing 12 pieces. 'What's in the box' just lists the single black piece.

So is it a kit or a single piece, or code to print that piece???

Anyone know what black piece is for??

I will try to contact seller for more info.

A DIY on doing this would be helpful for me.

I read it as 12 pieces all printed out on one piece so it would require some cutting to release the pieces you need. I will soon be putting my seats back together and would welcome a DIY.
