How hard is it to remove the top of the dash on a 964?
Tried searching but I couldn't find anything usefull...
The hard part is undoing the hidden nut behind the dash that sits between the clock and the central ventilation. Either gently remove the clock to reach this nut, or not so gently remove the center vent and glue it back in afterwards with a dab of black silicone.
Once you've figured it out it takes about 10 minutes tops to remove the dash...
It's a while since I've done it, but I think you have to remove the end pieces of the dash which screw off, and then the windscreen vent piece which is another 4 or 5 screws. I think this then gives you access to the screws holding the dash top on.
