Default Eibach ERS Springs

Hi everyone. I am very new to this and am looking to lower my porsche 964 coupe. I have completely standard suspension on the car at the moment (1990 model C2). Could someone let me know if these springs will fit the car and if I need any other parts to swop over the suspension.
Also they look very low so could they be used on the road as well as a track?

Thanks for all your help.

Dude, your best bet is H&Rs and Bilstien HDs

They look awfully short for the stock set up or might be designed for a helper spring which is not included.

Thx Makmov, Do you know where to get a good deal on springs? Don't really want to buy them new. Same with an antiroll bar?

ebay?

an H&R spring set is not terribly expensive $350 or so. The Bilstiens are going to run you a grand.

Hi Tom,

Go with H&R lowering springs, Red or Green depending on how hard you want the ride. Standard dampeners are fine for the moment. Have a look on eBay alternatively,

Here are some UK part supplier options: Design911.co.uk & Porscheshop.co.uk

Also H&R antiroll bars are £320 from Design...

Suspension options from Design911:

P964Miller - not sure if this is a viable option but my suspension and eibach springs (which i just replaced with KWV3's) are with RPM Technik and i asked them to sell them on for me. The suspension was Bilstien Sport purchased from Ruf when they had a presence in Surrey (I have the receipt here in my file) and Eibach springs. I am pretty sure Ollie thought they were still in pretty good nick. If you are interested just give him a call. Stance and performance on my C2 was fine. I just wanted to upgrade.

Just a thought. I wouldnt be looking for too much for the set (if he still has them!)

On a C2, an upgrade to decrease oversteer is to put on a thinner rear sway bar.
The '90 C2 comes with a 21mm bar standard. The 89 and 90 C4 came with an 18mm bar, and C4 owners need a thicker bar to get less understeer. Makes for a good trade. Just a thought.

Very good point on the rear bar....the RS also ran an 18mm, though 3-way adjustable rear bar (The front was a 24mm 5-way adjustable bar)
