Out of the 2 dozen or so 964s I have detailed I have seen a some with and some without clear coat. 3 white ones and 2 of them had a clear coat. If that red targa in this thread was recently purchased from Maryland I detailed it a few times myself....Can't remember if there was red paint on the pad or not. I know for a fact the all 3 white cars were factory original paint and all of them had under 50k miles. So my guess is some had it some didn't. Could be wrong but thats my observation.
