The gathering at Rob's the other day was great fun. Good folks, and cars.

There was talk about scheduling another BBQ this summer and I've been thinking about opening up my valves to allow folks to try their hand at doing an adjustment. I recall my first valve adjustment and how intimidating it felt. Having done a walk through with an indy really made the difference for me. In the end it really isn't difficult; just time consuming.

So, I'd like to propose another BBQ at my place in Warwick, NY on Sat July 9th. I think the format at Rob's worked well with burgers and dogs, and folks bringing a few things.

We have lots of room and a big lawn to set up for concourse pics!

We also have a pool and good sized deck. Kids, wives and friends are welcome, too. I have two boys (10 and 8) and a daughter (2).

I'll also have my valves open so that folks can try their hand at performing an adjustment, or two, to give them some experience with how it feels.

I'm open to other dates, but thought I'd throw one out there to get things started.

So, anyone in for Saturday, July 9th, Porsche BBQ and Valve Adjusting in Warwick, NY?
