Oh yes, IIRC there was a lot of hype around these around some years ago?? I also think Dauer??? or another compay were making something similar which looked as though it could bring the track focused cars to the road, though I haven't heard about these in a while. It is alleged around a dozen were built for the road.

Plenty of "Street Cred" if you actually drove this around......
