Yes, the fan bearing can be replaced. You have two options, to replace it with the original style or go with the RS style. Pelican carries both. Use the key word of "fan bearing" to search Pelican. You will see them.

Original = 964-106-051-30
RS = 993-106-051-80

No affliations.

I had to use a gear puller to press the bearing assembly out of my fan, I then used a press to press in the new one. I'm not aware that you can replace the bearing within the assembly itself. It appeared to me that Porsche expected you to buy a new bearing assembly when service was needed.

The bearing is affixed within the steel fan hub. The fan hub is what you replace and it costs somewhere around $120 - $140 these days.

Press the old one out of the fan, refinish the fan, and install the new hub. Ask the powdercoating place to mask the raised portion on the outside of the fan (where the three bolts go).

Ahhh so the bearing that is stuck in there now should have stayed with the fan hub, so when I get a new fan hub assembly it will come with that bearing...

All good..

In your pic in post 3 the 'fan hub' is still pressed into the fan; you'll pull or press this out and then press the new one in.

A little heat on the fan will make the hub come out easier.

Here's a (swiped ) pic of the hub unit:
