Impeller fan bearing

Yes, the fan bearing can be replaced. You have two options, to replace it with the original style or go with the RS style. Pelican carries both. Use the key word of "fan bearing" to search Pelican. You will see them.
Original = 964-106-051-30
RS = 993-106-051-80
No affliations.

I had to use a gear puller to press the bearing assembly out of my fan, I then used a press to press in the new one. I'm not aware that you can replace the bearing within the assembly itself. It appeared to me that Porsche expected you to buy a new bearing assembly when service was needed.

i am a buit confused here, I dont want to disassemble the bearing in the impeller , I want to replace it
Thanks jim, if stuff on these cars was easy to do they would be old VW beetles.. the bearing in there seems tight but i dont like the feel of it, want to get the impeller powder coated and should not leave the bearing in..
got a part number anyone?

Press the old one out of the fan, refinish the fan, and install the new hub. Ask the powdercoating place to mask the raised portion on the outside of the fan (where the three bolts go).

In your pic in post 3 the 'fan hub' is still pressed into the fan; you'll pull or press this out and then press the new one in.
A little heat on the fan will make the hub come out easier.
Here's a (swiped ) pic of the hub unit:
