Did you install just the Bilstein's and H+R springs, or did you also go with new strut mounts, etc?

Hi GoKArt

I did the upper rubber strut mounts as well. Hopefully I didn't miss anything on it. My budget didn't allow me to go crazy and I'm probably not a good enough driver with enough seat time in this car to feel the nuances of a more in depth set up.

Howdy,

Cool - do you happen to have the Part #'s for the upper mounts handy? How much were they?

I am about to do the same suspension install, but haven't bought the upper mounts yet.

I believe the part number is 964 343 018 02. It's not clear on my parts bill so you may want to verify that. The price was $185 each for a total of $370.

Hey GoKart,
Let me know when you do the install. I'd like to come over to see what's involved, and lend a hand if needed. Can't wait to change my suspension.

Definitely, Udo - I won't forget ya! I still have to get a few parts for the job, so that's what I'm waiting on. I'd definitely appreciate a second set of eyes and hands, and a spare brain

What, if anything, has been renewed in the clutch hydraulic system? What you're describing sounds like my car before I replaced the clutch slave. Swapping that out, with the related soft line, really cleaned up my shifting nicely but now I think I can mebbe feel the master weakening...
