Porsche also made a D90 in 7" with a 55ET. They are becoming harder to find. I located two sets on Fleebay. If you locate a set of 7's and match them with your 8's, you will be close to your 1K budget for tires & wheels listed above

I have two sets of D90 7's. One set has the size and offset stamped by the valve stem. The other does not but it is listed on the back.

Both sets have a 964 part #.

If memory serves me well, the D90 7's were available on a 944S2 or a late 944 Turbo. They also may have been an option on the 964.

There is a 928 version but the offset is not 55.

Earlydays, I found this chart.

This chart is missing several wheels--sorry for posting.

D90 sizes:

6 / 52 / 964
7 / 55 / 964
7.5 / 65 / 928
8 / 52 / 964
9 / 52 / 928

Thanks for all the tips everyone. The fellow that I picked up the twist wheels from is giving a generous rebate and I'm going to have them straightened and mount the Dunlop Star Specs. Looking forward to seeing how they do in the next a/x on the 25th.
