Default Best weekend to sit in front of TV?

Well, with bad weather scheduled, I'm hoping to get out for a run in the 964 this Saturday.......but if the rain comes I know where I'll be, watching:

the MotoGP from Silverstone (dry Saturday, rain expected on Sunday);
the F1 from Canada (rain Saturday, thunder storms on Sunday); and
the Le Mans 24 hours (dry Saturday, drizzle Sunday),

so, bucket of ice at the ready!!!

Thanks for the reminder on Le Mans. I checked my DVR and it was going to record most of it but not the finish. I corrected the conflict so it will record all.

Looks like it could be a good one.

Only 6 10ths of second seperate the 6 works cars. I don't think it's ever been that close before. Yeah, Audi got pole and locked out the front row, but you know how hard Audi was trying when they smash up two cars doing.

Too much work to do on my 944 this weekend to take it all in, but this might be the best racing weekend all year.
Moto GP, LeMans, F1 and...

... don't forget the AMA MX National at Mt. Morris too!

Even better than TV, I'll be in one of the grandstands at the Senna curve for the F1

Another thanks for the Le Mans reminder from here as well

Yeah, what a great weekends entertainment....was watching the Legends race this morning, stunning in HD....gutted I'm not there again this year (le mans, that is)...been a bonkers week, missed the TT, LM qually, MotoGP practice.

Cheeksy....another westie owner, eh? ;o) ....taxed mine 2mths ago and not even got around to firing her up....sinful.

This is one of two high holy weekends for race fans (the other being the weekend containing Monaco F1 and the Indy 500).

Wow, what a close finish to Le Mans.....McNish had a horrific accident (check out on Youtube) and marshalls and photographers are probably still pulling carbonfibre out of their hair!

Interesting fact from RadioLeMans was that in 24hrs they go 400km further than total of the number of laps in an F1 season.....

George Lawrence let me down in the MotoGP so now Casy leads the championship

Only Q now is can Alonso win in Canada (I have to cheer as I've got him in a sweepstake....and no, I'm not a fan of his!) Go Jenson!

Rocky's (which killed the other Audi) crash was probably even worse than Allen's crash.

It was one of the closest Le Mans I remember seeing. 13.460 to the second place Pug. Audi said they were all in and could not have done another lap... they were out of fuel.
