Default hammer

I seem to remember someone asking for pics of the hammer I got recently. I got a hell of a deal it seems as I have seen them since for well over a grand one I saw was $2500.00 (must have a solid gold circuit board and diamond LCD)

was surprised when I opened it. both keys are there and I even opened the Porsche cable myself (brand new still) plastic is still on the LCD and it was barely used at all. second module has BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar ,VW , Audi and a few others that escape me at the moment.

so heres my $575.00 hammer pics:

sorry for the quality of the pictures...I'm still trying to figure out how to use this camera. wife seems to be able to do perfect pictures....mine?? well not so grand.

I highly recommend that you store it with the battery pack removed...if and when the battery pack starts leaking, you might damage the circuits under the pack.

Good find. I have the same version...is that the latest?

Thats neato.. How does it connect to the car? It looks like the manual shows you 4 individual pin connectors? OR does it have the OBD1 plug?

actually it has a 19 pin cable which attaches to the connector on the passengers side footwell.

already store it with the battery removed. I dabble in R/C also and thats one of the first things you learn. I believe this is the latest version of the Porsche special module. the manuals you see are for the tester and the other cables which were included. they connect to Mercedes BMW Audi VW Jaguar and several others too. the one you are referring to is a universal cable.

Smokey, that's a smokin' deal!

Take it into one of the PBS 'Antiques Roadshow's:

"Do you know what this is worth?
Well, they no longer make these. And you'll always find a fervent following of these cars... so I wouldn't be surprised to see one at auction going between $1500 to $3000.
Congratulations!
This was a VERY good find."
