Body and Frame off-center?

Body and Frame off-center?
I did a search on this issue without avail...
Just got new suspension (PSS-10)...it appears that the body and frame are off center...right rear tire appears to be closer to the fender than the left side...looks like about an inch...maybe less.
Could the rear axle shifted to the right during the suspension replacement?
Does the four wheel alignment process center the body and frame?
Appreciate any thoughts!

There is no "frame" in our cars, it is all about the unibody. The mounting geometry really doesn't allow for a lateral movement of the rear trailing arm to that extent. I'm wondering if the car had wheel spacers, and they left one off when they put it back together. So, did you have OEM wheels on the car, or were they aftermarket? You should be able to tell about the spacers by looking to see if there is anything between the wheel and the rotor looking through the spokes towards the center of the axle.

Oem wheels...no spacers...had the wheels reconditioned by wheel enhancement...they were straighten and refinished...put on new ps2s. Also installed new rotors...
Just measured...the off center...a full inch...arg....front wheels are dead on Square with the body...

That sounds very odd. I can't understand how that would happen. I was just in there replacing rotors and stuff, and unless something was misinstalled, I don't get how there can be a difference in location of the rears.

So, go to the front of the car and look down each side. Do both of the wheels "look" like they are the same angle from the vertical, or floor? Looking from the front gives me a better reference for positioning of my eye.

You may have something on the camber...hard to see.wheels tires appear to sit square on the ground, but the wheels look kinda of cockeyed...need to take it back to the shop tomorrow and have it checked out...it's definitely not right...

964s are Asymetrical?
I was informed that our cars are not perfectly symetrical (from my expert)...
Has anyone noticed that to be true?
Since 964s are hand-built cars, do we have flaws in assembly of the body and wheels?
Is a half an inch...12mm...within spec?
Thoughts to reduce my anxiety/expectations?

Has the car ever been in an accident? 1" is quite a bit and you should be able to get a good idea what's out of whack (ie. body parts vs. suspension geometry) with a measuring tape in relation to certain reference points.
