Default Rear center reflector

In Europa the rear center reflector are hard do find, I have contacted several suppliers including Porsche, but no one have them in stock. In US however this is not a problem, several suppliers have them in stock. But the US reflectors have a different part number. Does anyone no if there really is any physical differences between the European and the US versions?

The US part number is 964 631 160 00 and the European part number is 964 631 159 00.

Yes, as said the US model doesnt have the fog lights fitted where as the Euro one does.

I have a US one fitted at the moment and I think it would be easy to adapt to fit the remaining two bulbs, however I cant bring myself to try in case I damage the unit!

I just swap it over at MOT time

these guys have new and used examples: http://www.teile.pl/

not bought off them, but have just received an email confirming this

€120 for left and right, €204 for centre. think that's for the used set though - getting a quote for new set now.

I also recommend teile.pl. You can often buy parts from them, which nobody else has.

Hole markers are there, so wouldnt be too hard to cut. If you have a UK car then the wiring and the bulb holders would then fit from the car into said holes

A brand new reflector (European version) is on it's way to Norway. Found it here: www.type911.co.uk

correct, but when bought new easier to get porsche to give you the one you asked for.you need to remove wiring from your old unit, you are only short one switch wire

I drilled mine out and then did the close finish work with a soldering pen...less crud to fill the reflector that way
