Just purchased a 1990 911 C4!!! | Cup 1 Wheels | Yes or No?
It's white, only 46,000 miles and a one owner car. It drives quite "different" from my 964 C2, i must admit. I took it to my Porsche mechanic as I wanted to know if I could put a pair of 17" Cup 1 wheels on it in place of the 16" design 90 and he frowned on it, saying the all wheel drive works better with the 16". He knows my 964 C2 has the 17" Cup 1 wheels, so I was a little surprised...964's are meant to have Cup 1 wheels...they just look so good...ur thoughts.
and by the way. the C2 and C4 are really completely different cars..I had no idea...my C2 is like a rebel, fast, raw, and my new C4 is controlled predictable...almost boring, but in a good way.

I run Cup 1 17" all day long on my C4... As long as the diameters of the wheels/tires are the same, there is no problem. Ensure you have stock tire sizes... As long as the wheels are stock, and the offsets are right, there is no problem that I can imagine.
I use 16" for winter, and 17" for summer... the interchange creates no issues
