Default RUF 964

I was wondring if there are forum members that could help me find more about RUF recarding the 964 model, on the website RUF i can't find mutch exept a brochure to order parts. On the japanese site i found a bit more there they talk about a RUF CRo and a RUF BR2 (based on the 965?).

Can someone please tell me what the specifications are of those models and witch options they have, pictures and other stuff is more than welcome.

This is one of the best articles I've ever read on the RUF 964 RCT!

Ok, so there is also a 964 RCT. That makes three RUF's based on the 964

Not trying to be a smart *** but there is plenty of info if you search for "RUF BTR" or "RUF RCT" on the 964 board.

Available RUF "packages" for 964:

NA-base:
RUF CR2
RUF CR4
RUF BTR (3.8L)
RUF RCT
RUF RCT EVO

turbo 3.3 base:
RUF BR2
RUF BR4

The cool thing is that you can still build your own RUF 964 from the current RUF catalog...whether or not you can claim it as a RUF car is debatable but you would have the reciepts to prove that you have genuine RUF components. With the RUF factory engine rebuild you get the certificate of their bench-test run and evidence of rebuild at their shop. A 964 outfittend with all new genuine RUF parts would be an authentic modified car, as opposed to a "clone" car put together by knock-off parts. Plus as a Targa owner myself there were never any Targa-RUFs built so what is one to do? Hmmmmmm.....I guess a RUF Targa would be a RUF C2T, a CT2? Or would it be a RCT-T? And what color would they have chosen???

Gimme the white car with a ducktail instead of the TV tray, and I'd be happy....

it's have a very minimal modification from normal 964.
you get
Ruf seat
Ruf Rear Back up light panel
Ruf Strut brace
Ruf front chin spoiler
Ruf Brake
Ruf ECU
Ruf Exhaust system
Ruf Wheel
Ruf quote 265 HP

At the time you can order CR2 in all configuration, speedster, cab, targa, coupe.

Default RYF 964 Targa

Funny you should mention a Ruf 964 Targa. This is my second creation. First was a 1990 coupe, then a 1991 RCT conversion (the one at RAC was mine for about 18 months). Now this: Full Ruf suspension and brakes as well as interior pieces. Only engine mods are a Ruf exhaust bypass and tip.

My understanding is the Ruf CRo is what the CR2 and CR4 were, but Japan.
