I'm having the same dilemma too. I'd like to upgrade my stock suspension. My consultants have told me PSS 10's combo, RS sway bars..And your done. I'm probably looking at no track time this summer, but I'm pretty sure it's worth the extra 1k then HD's.
Any comments with experience on the 10's. (Sorry to butt in on your thread Andy.) Where is that company you have your offer from?
Cheers

The PSS10s are great also, so are the KWV3s from what I've heard theres negligible difference. However the PSS10s are more expensive and adjustments are more easily made as access is better....

Well, I finally picked up the car today after having the KW V3s and the H&R sway bars fitted and love it so far! Whilst I've not had the chance to give the car a full work out yet other than a little detour on the way to work..., it feels great and certainly installs more confidence that the 20 year old shocks and springs I had before!!

I'll try to sort out some photos tonight!

OK, here's a couple of quick pics....

So far, I really like it! It's quite a bit firmer than before though. I need to see what settings the shocks are at, but it's fine the way it is and I would recommend this to anyone as the car feels much better now! The second picture also gives a good shot of the unusual mirrors fitted to the car (Gemballa I think!)

Hi Andy! Great stuff, congratulations! I think you could go a little lower?

Car looks stunning, love that colour and the mirrors!

Yes, I think it could go a little lower - especially at the back, but I asked them not to go too low to start off with as I wanted to see how it was with speed bumps and the ramp into my driveway etc, plus I was a bit worried about bump steer. I think it's currently set to about RS+5mm, so pretty low anyway!

Thanks! One of my plans for it to treat it to a coat of Zymol next month for the first time in about 3 years to really bring out the colour! It'll be hard work but worth it!

Yes, the KW V3s are on and looking great! You now have the stance to go with that unique color.

Speaking of color...make a day of it and enjoy caressing those lovely 911 fenders. That color + Zymol will have all of us drooling at the results.

By then you'll have the kiddo seat in, roof rack on, and family all packed-in for a road trip to Italy! We need a picture of that!

Thomas's seat is already in place...

At the moment it's behind my seat, but I might have to pursude the other half to have him behind her, although I think at the moment it's better like this and in a normal car as it'll be easy for her to turn around and give him toys etc with him being so close!!

Andy I know your keeping track of 964s in the same colour as yours, have you seen this one? Is it your one?

Hi Frank,

It does look as though it's either the same or very close to the colour of mine. It's not my car though. Sometimes Amethyst looks very similar. Where did you find the pic? If it is the same colour, it's the only other 911 I've seen in it.

I know this is an old thread, but I ran across a Targa in your color in the Porsche dealership in Dresden Germany yesterday. The cool thing is that this 964 was all shined up and sitting front and center in the show room while there was a fleet of nice used cars including 997's, 993's, and a Boxster Spyder sitting out in the melting snow! The Dresdener's respect the 964. :-)
