Default 964 Cabrio Part Needed

Hi All,

My roof support beam cracked just like the ones in these threads:

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...ferrerid=32915

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=32915

Anyone know where I can get the part - #911.561.927.00.70B? (Driver side).

Mine has already been welded back together once and if I can get a replacement part, I'd prefer to.

Thanks,
Jeff

Pelican lists is on their website. The cost is a bit high. $2,244. Cough cough..... Have you tried the usual salvage yards (Parts Heaven, DC Auto, etc)?

That price is for a lot more parts than I need. I just need the support post. Yeah, I'm trying the salvage yards now, one at a time.

Thanks!

I had this happen to me in November and I procrastinated all winter getting it fixed. I had it welded, got it back from the guy on Friday and had it back running on Sunday morning. It's a PITA for sure, but for $2,200, I would have bought a new 993 top and been done with this thing.

Any questions I can answer, let me know.

Any cab owners still using the auto up/down feature of the top, take note.... I'm sure it's really convenient when it works like it's supposed to, but when you hear that b-pillar snap, it sucks!!!
