Hawk's Friday post- April 15
well, I'm charging batteries, checking my gear, and going over my notes. I'm the official photographer for a high school prom tomorrow. Tonight will be a quick in and out to see the layout and test lighting. Tomorrow is the real deal. I'm hoping it leads to other work for me as photographer.
Because of the event, the Porsche will sit another few days with the cab top still partially working. Maybe sunday I can get some wrench time. It's unseasonably cold here, so no need to rush out topless anyway- high of 47 tomorrow for all those girls in sleeveless dresses.
so not much else. What about your weekend plans?

Hawk, my wife and I went for our first drive last weekend to the trailer. 17 degrees celecius top down. What a great time we had, even got a small sun burn on my forehead. Car pured like a kitten and when the turbo kicked in......too much fun.
Ps, I start my camera cousre next week, I am so excited.

I began using my 964 as a daily driver. Yea! There is no substitute. Went and saw the musical "Spam-a-lot" last night with friends. It was a great show.
No Pcar work this weekend. Saturday will be spend moving furniture from my GF's condo to my house and/or the dump. Most is done but this will be the last. Hoping to get it down with one trip to the dump and one trip to my house. She's getting the unit ready for sale.
Sunday, I will be spreading anti-crab grass chemicals on my lawn and will be changing out the winter tires for summer tires on her Honda Civic. Other than that, I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend. We have been on the go every night this week.

Only car work for me this weekend is to finish replacing the resistor module on my trucks air conditioner. It started only working on high last week and the noise was annoying. I plugged the new part in last night and it works so now need to unscrew the old one and mount the new one. Its been in the high 80's low 90's the last couple of weeks so its about time to recharge the R134 in the cab.

I forgot one thing. One of the lights behind the speedometer is out. In looking at PET, there are two bulbs listed. One is 0.9 watts and the other is 1.5 watts. Does anyone know which is used for the speedometer? Pelican's pictures shows the 0.9 has a green base and the 1.5 has a tan.
964-641-920-00 0.9 watts $7.25
999-631-027-90 1.5 watts $1.25
I'd like to order some spares but would like to avoid having to remove the speedo just to check.

Dropping the Porsche off at the paint shop today to get new rockers and extensions painted, packing my tools and camera gear up for a week long trip to Moab Utah to get stills and video for an off-road project I'm working on.

Car still at Rothsport.
Work continues here at Bugtussle. I'm semi-caught up outdoors, so I'm back to hanging doors and running trim. Kitchen is now finished with the exception of the low voltage under cabinet lights which I'll tie up this weekend.
I hate my Paslode gas fired nailer and replaced it with a Dewalt 18V unit....much better!
