Default My 90 C2 Being Torn Apart

Last May, my '91 C2 was in an accident.

I saw this video on LA Dismantler Web Site. The headlines said:LA Porsche's TV Premier on the National Geographic Channel!

Here is a link to the video http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/series/break-it-down/4877/Overview#tab-Videos/10128_00

About 1/2 way through I saw my Porsche being torn apart.

Picture on the right is my new 91 C4

I have mixed emotions watching it. Its good to see that the parts are being saved but not happy to see that a 964 was damaged or lost.

Glad to see that you found a new one.

It is hard to watch, but is good to know those parts will live on driving more miles, and saving someone $$ over new (that is, if the parts are still available)

I am surprised they allowed the gents taking it apart to show all of the cutting and pry bar action -- especially on that RF caliper -- guys!! those caliper bridge pipes crush really easy!!
