We all generally do a nice job of policing ourselves. I'm calling an end to the attitudes, please. Scott is new to the forum, but this is certainly not what Rennlist is all about.

This, for me, is the unfortunate side of the forum.
I know I'm just a "USER" at this point in my early enjoyment of these wonderful machines, so show me how nice you all are and I'll be more inclined to spend more time on here and pony up some $$.
To Dwane directly.
Why the name calling?
I don't like people complaining on a public forum over something so trivial.
I couldn't care less who the guy is that backed out. Is he not allowed to change his mind?
6 months ago someone pulled the same stunt and got the same response.
I got home late from work that is why I posted later on!

Some user/members seem to have the same point of view....very strange.

thought we were going to get a chest bump for a secound!! Hawk I think I have a set of black rear seat belts, Ill check later today. Windblown Here is a idea for the front.. The cheap splitters from reenspeed , I put them on with out the trays you can not tell unless car is up in the air. do that till you find what you want. Flat black them.
Hawk you have the same suspesion set up as I do.. I think my rear shocks are blown, billstiens hd. The back feels real spongy, I would think it would be super stiff. My ? is while car is sitting You can push down on the rear bumper pretty easy.. I have h and r reds springs. ??? Hawk do you have alot of travil or pretty stiff??

ok- I think Scott has been given enough opinions, and starting more threads about this isn't going to handle it either. Let's just be done with this issue. We've got better ways to spend our time, or at least I SURE HOPE WE DO!!!

What an interesting thread. So a seller backs out, for whatever reason, it can happen. No price was agreed upon, just a discussion about potentially selling.

As for member vs non-member, I didn't realize that some elitist members are using their big $17 as muscle to look down on the 'users'. If this was a forum policy, then it would be mandatory to pay the membership fee. Otherwise, this self policing and 2 tier treatment of users vs members is just silly.

They made more than one and another will come along...I wasnt going to do a spoiler and one day went on ebay, there was one which had just posted for $125.00 buy it now...so I did..

I answered a Craigslist here last week for a Set of Cup Wheels with tires $350.00 ...I contacted seller and said I will pay the asking price, he said fine and they were on hold for me (this was at 2AM) within 12 hours he emailed me that he sold them to someone else
(translation...someone else offered more than asking price)

Oh well, I didnt really need them to begin with

Point is that some people dont do things they way we like and when it happens ...move on ...or as Tony Soprano says Fugeddaboutit!

I didn't see this as threatening... on VW Vortex, I think every thread starts out like this.

One of the funniest threads ever, really - at least by staid Rennlist standards. Just a healthy exchange of viewpoints.

Why doesn't the OP or a moderator lock this and let it die??

There are red seat belts on ebay at $499, I would love them, but too pricey.

I considered it but thought I'd see where it went.

While people are encouraged to support Rennlist and joining does have benefits, there should be no class distinction.

....and I'm glad any personal threats were removed before I saw them as Jim is right and someone would be on vacation for a while now.
