I used to be a member, and let it lapse. Just in the midst of cab top repair, so the forum has saved me hundreds already. $32 for 2 yrs is worth it.

I have a small wallet to start with, so it's cost me little.

Don't get me wrong... it is fine that he is going to keep it for himself but it is totally bogus that so many people tried to get this part from me behind my back after I put the effort into trying to find it. Shame on you if you were one of the backstabbers and I apologize about this rant if you were not.

Just because you have the taste for a classy car does not mean you have class...

so anyhow... still looking for the OE chinlip spoiler for a 965 if anyone has a line on one.
Tool....Gosomewhere else!

I feel free forums are for a collection of users to share opinions and help each other, regardless of status (or branding under your user name). I never noticed Hawk was or wasn't a member, and didn't really care, I didn't value his posts any less before, and likes others its good to see the pics taken and read about life on the other side of the world.

P.S I also don't feel like i'm getting a free ride off anyones $$$. I help, post pics and discuss things with anyone, but i believe members clubs are one thing but an open public discussion forum (to me) is a another issue all together...

After reading this entire thread I still cannot figure out what part you are referring to. There is no OEM spoiler for the 964 Turbo cars so it must have been an aftermarket part which is the business we are in.

If you have a photo of the part in question I would be happy to source it for you since we do not make it.

FYI: The 964 Turbo OEM lower splitters are PN # 965 505 152 01C (right) & 965 505 151 01C (left) and sell for $166.00 each side.

Cheers,
Joel Bowman

If people weren't able to use the site for free, it would not be anywhere near as helpful and interesting.

It sounds like the person who backed out on the OP realized he was about to be taken advantage of. Good for him/her.

Is it me? Or does Dwane like to kick the hornets nest JUST as it was all settled down with everybody understanding each other and lessons being learned?
This, for me, is the unfortunate side of the forum.
I know I'm just a "USER" at this point in my early enjoyment of these wonderful machines, so show me how nice you all are and I'll be more inclined to spend more time on here and pony up some $$.
To Dwane directly.
Why the name calling?

if you find a source for belts, I could use a set in black for the rear of my cab.

Andrew10, there was no price given yet so how could I be taking advantage of someone; my intentions were never intended to take advantage of anyone.

Dwane, like I said "just because you have tase for classy cars..."

Hawk911, sorry you lost your "super user" status; thanks for your kind words earlier. Like you said almost 100%...

sooo, yea.. seat belts?

Windblown, why don't you drive your spoiler-less car up here and have a personal non-internet mouth chat with me? I can show you the dock.

Seems like the important assertion the OP made in his first post was that he was disappointed in the lack of gentlemanly conduct and restraint shown by some of his fellow Rennlisters. Frankly some of the posts in this thread validate that point of view.
