Default Fabspeed Motorblower bypass tube

Has anyone used this brand? I have heard that some are a poor fit.

My car is an 89 car but it has had a rebuild and has later plastic inlet manifold (if that makes a difference)

Thanks

Lee

Lee,

Alloy or plastic inlet is irrelevant to the tube AFAIK

When mine was in for srevice a couple of weeks ago I was todl that none of them fit that well, but Ive not tried it myself yet

Design 911 in theUk is the cheapest you will find anywhere (and I think its a fabsped part)

at £120.00 plus Vat

The factory plastic part is more expensive than this

I'd have thought you might have gone for this on you car though?

I am using a version of this as well, helps with weight and looks good on CF, but I am not sure how practical it is in the UK with the Cold weather, I have personally lost all heating

I have the factory plastic pipe. There is still enough heat due to fans in the front and the air beeing pushed forward by the engine cooling fan.

you can purchase the factory plastic piece from Sunset in Oregon for about $200. I went this route as I preferred the factory look over CF. Plenty of heat.

Cheers

At a guess and after looking at PET I'd say theyve got the part number wrong and what they are selling for $100.00 is the standard part which is

993 211 341 03, and is no 5 on PET

Otherwise they'd have astampede on theor hands for the RS part!!
