Default Please provide pictures of wheels for widebody

Hi Everyone,

I joined this forum about a week ago and would like to say HELLO and thanks to ALL for the valuable information I have learned thus far. I just purchased my 94 C4 yesterday and can't wait until it is delivered to me here in So Cal... hopefully by the end of next week.

I am now in search of the right wheels for my new toy; the cup wheels that come with the car (white) was painted black. Although nice, it's just not my style. So far, the wheel that keeps coming back to me is the Speedline Turbo S. I have also considered the RH 3.6.

I would love to see pictures of your wheels for your wide bodies; it would help me get a better idea of what would be right for me. So far, i have seen so many amazing pictures here but not too many wide bodies.

Also, I would appreciate any suggestions on Wheel offset, wheel Size, and any recommendations.

Thank you all in advance. This is an amazing forum.

Alan.

It is hard to search directly on the dodgy Tirerack website ... but they have a lot of options with offsets & widths (more than just what may be recommended for your car) ....

These are very light and good value ...

First - Welcome! Second - we need pictures of your new C4 WB ASAP !
I recently bought a C4 widebody conversion, and am using Cup1 wheels, which I think are the "proper" look. If I could afford them, however, I would go with the sexy RH Speedlines for the real Turbo look. Pictures!

IMHO 3.6 Speedlines offers the best look.

Thank you parsecnc4.

Im new at this; what does IMHO mean? Are your wheels the Speedline factory turbo S rims (8 x18 fr, and 10x18 rr)?. And were these called Aleseo?

There is a guy that has a set of Speedlines i am interested in but I'm worried that it might not fit the my car.

"The fronts are 18x 8.25 with a back space of 5.5 inches and the monster rears are 18x11.5 with a backspace of just a little over 5.5 inches"

Would these fit on a wide body?

The RS Speedlines (top photo) are not the same as Speedline Alessio (lower photo)

As for 18 x 11.5, that would be a very tought fit even on a WB. I am not too optimistic in fitting them on a 964WB, but the fronts should not be a problem if the offsets are correct.

So what would have been the stock wheel on a '94 widebody C4?

I have 18x8.5 +46 and 18x10.5 +55 on my 91 964 Turbo which is the same wheel fitment as the Widebody C4. I have a couple different sets of wheels on it over the years. Obviously all Forgelines....

The offset you need for rears
for 10 inch is et 61- 65 a lower ET on 10 inch will extend outward to and rub the fenders.

BTW
These wheels are for sale for sale $42,500 come with car .

Thank you All.

Another mystery I can't sort out: what is the difference between TechArt Daytona for Speedline vs. the Speedline Aleseo wheels? I compare the photos and they looked just about the same.
