Default Oil Pressure Sender Leak?

All,

I searched and couldn't find my answer. Last winter I replace the oil pressure sender and 'O' ring because the sender had reached the end of its life.

Now, I'm chasing some oil leaks and poked my head back in there and see some leakage. My question is can the oil pressure sender leak from the area where the green arrow points in the following picture. If so, do I need to just get back to it and tighten it down or what? I believe a 24mm crows foot is needed, but please confirm - I removed the whole thing last year and it wasn't easy to remove the sender from the base, so probably need to get the right tool this time.

I don't believe the sender is leaking from where the 'O' ring is, but that might also be a culpret because of the new 'O' ring, but I can easily replace it again if it might be since I'm going to be there anyway.

Credit for the picture goes to another Rennlister...thanks.
