Alignment Drama
So I brought the car down to the local Mavis discount tire for a basic alignment post suspension/spring change. Here's the short story:
1. The alignment hasn't been done in years, if ever. They struggled big time to loosen the rear alignment bolts/nuts. In the process they managed to break the Right Rear Toe Eccentric bolt. I crawled under the car so they could show me what broke and it was pretty obvious that no one had touched the alignment bolts in ages so I can't blame them for being careless.
Does anyone know where I can buy one and the matching nut?
2. They were expecting the fronts to also use eccentric bolts, which I learned our cars do not have. Does anyone know where I can buy the OEM Front Camber tool? It looks like a big nut with an off-center hole in the middle that slips over the upper hex bolt and can be turned to do the camber. The Tire Store says they will buy it from me once the job is done so they have it for future jobs.
thanks!

You can get them from the dealer. The part numbers are
Eccentric = 964-331-136-01
Lock nut = 900-910-094-02 (14mm x 1.5)
Edit: Alignment tools are available via Pelican. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...pg6.htm#item34

Sunset Porsche has a good reputation for service. I buy many of my parts from EBS Racing. Ask for Troy.

Thanks DWS964!
I still can't get over the price difference between the dealer and online. The front camber adjustment tool that P-can sells for $21 is $220 from Porsche?!?!?!
