Hi John - I would like to make this. Sorry if these are daft questions (i havent done a run before) but where would we meet? I am thinking whether i would need to stay up that way on the sat night given i am coming from London. Any recommendations on accom in that area?

If your staying up here I would go with either of the following which are nice places to stay:
www.manorhaus.com (in Ruthin too, and modern)
www.ruthincastle.co.uk (as Steve suggested is close by too)
www.bodidrishall.com (equally a nice place locally) very quiet and very secluded spot (no local pubs here)
www.wildpheasanthotel.co.uk (nr Llangollen option 4 for me)
You will be good to stay at any of the above, the manor haus would a good option and close.

I'm in!
Coming with Charlie too. We'll be in the Smart Roadster though...no 964 at the mo!
Mark may also be coming...been trying to get him to come along for about 10 years!

Just looking at the recommended over night hotels it seems all the hotels are booked up! Apart from the Wild Pheasant Hotel...

Meeting will be at the Esso garage just on the very edge of Ruthin on the road to Denbigh at 11.00-ish for setting off around 11.30.
There is no need for anyone to 'ask' if they can come along. Everyone is welcome, so come if you'd like to - simple as that. We'll have a drive about on some great roads, stopping for pictures and a picnic (bring one) and generally just having a good time. I'll bring some (likely) route-maps so there's no pressue to keep up. Some people like speed, others prefer to chill out a bit - entirely up to you. It's all about no-pressure, relaxed fun in good company with lots of 964s.
