Default how to decipher my vin #

alright then here is the vin # from the car i bought can anyone tell me what month it was produced and is it a fairly early production c4 i ask cause adrian wrote in a post on here that some of the parts on the 89 c4 started to change over in august of 89 to the 90 model year parts. vin#wpoabo964k5450294

There's a website that will do it for you, if you google VIN code it should bring it up in the first 5-10 links.

This has always worked for me: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...do=vin_decoder

however, something looks a bit off in the VIN number - might want to validate it. I think at the very least the "o"s are"0"s (numbers not letters).

edit: just realized the issue....in addition to the "o" being "zeros...your first "5" should be an "S" - then the decoder should give you full results.
