You crash and burn or worse kill someone else when the car goes out of control and then the insurance company sees the wheels are altered and denies any claims. Nothing too serious.

We manufacture forged aluminum wheels that are very strong and lightweight. In 17x9" FM10 weighs about 17.5 pounds and the Profil 10 about 18.5 pounds.
I don't recommend triming down the factory wheels.
