Default Oil leakage from blower ducting

I recently observed fresh oil residue on top of the engine block with oil apparently coming from a blower duct joint (i.e., it was leaking through the joint gasket). This is the black duct just below the throttle cable spool attachment point.

I recently spilled some oil doing a filter change, but would not have expected this to get sucked into the intake. Are there any other sources for oil contamination of the blower ductwork? Had my duct joint been tighter, I possibly would not have noticed any leakage.

Thanks,

-H
