I looked at a pretty nice coupe today, but the back end looked fairly pink. I know some people have tried some sort of a red cover. What is the 'ballpark' number for oem replacement, or is there some good after market?

Try a parts inquiry at Sunset Porsche. IIRC I paid around $595 for all 3 shipped a few years back. Not sure of current pricing.

Agreed - I found just that when I bought a new center reflector, as it really wasn't much redder then my "old" one. My 2 cts would be to treat the lens plastic - search this forum for options.
