That was my reaction, too. I always tell people, "A buyer is wherever you find one", but that sign seems like shouting out that you're snorkeling for the bottom-feeders.

Most of the 34 cars I have sold have been in the local area, except for one, the 90 964.
A guy called me from Seattle, I did the phone screen with him for an hour, the next day his buddy from North Jersey called, did another 1 hour phone screen. The following day he (north jersey guy) showed up at the Porsche dealership where I had the car being serviced. He called his brother in Florida and told him this was the car to buy and by dinner time there was $23K in my checking account.

There is someone looking for that exact car, you just have to find that person, and chances are it may not be the in the local area.

Good looking targa. Pricing is good I got my Tip for 14500.00USD here in Portland, OR. I probibly could have taken time and found another but I feel fortunate that I have the car I got. For the money I have had to do very little to her even though she had high 130ish miles when I got her. Had to change the Alt bearing but that so far been the only part I have had fail on me. I need to replace one of the oil lines I didn't know about until about 3 months ago due to a crimp though she runs nice and cool for an air cooled engine. Not sure though if it would give me temp problems further south.
Hang in there, some one will get that beauty of a targa from you for a fair price. -D²

This is the proud new owner of my 1990 C2 targa, Bill.
Bill lives in Jackson, Ms. and hopefully will be a new member of rennlist soon.
