You'll get an offer. Cabs and Targas are a bit softer than coupes right now.

17800 might be a little strong for a 100K Targa depending on the local market.

Where else you have it listed?

Just here on rennlist and the local paper so far.
The 17800 price is not set in stone by any means.

You really have to go national with the car.

Ebay, Cars, Autotrader.

Don't get me wrong, Rennlist is a great place to start.

Don't forget Craigslist. Sure it's a bit seedy but it's easy, free, and you'd be surprised by the exposure it gets you.....and your car.

Spring is just around the corner. I'm betting you'll get your asking price [or very close] within the next 4 or so weeks. Seems way too nice a car to cheap sell it. I agree with Makmov, you'll need to go national. Take some really good high res pics. Carefully write the ad.

Good luck selling this good looking, and RARE targa!

Amen to this. You really have to go all out if you're serious. Of course, you'll get probes from *******, knuckleheads and brokers (maybe that was redundant ), but all you need is one good buyer. Maybe I'm biased because this car is so much like mine, but up here in this neck of the woods, I'd put that car up for $19,500, and I'd predict it would sell easily and quickly for $18.5K-$19K.
But anywhere you are, you gotta give it some exposure. JMO. And if you have had a shop that you like to use, let them know too. They always have people who are asking them if they know of anybody who is selling.

Thanks guys,
I know I need to go nationwide. I guess I`ve been dragging my feet.
I have let my shops know it`s for sale.

Location Location Location makes a difference. How many 911 buyers could there possible be in Ocean Springs?

Makmov

Are you trying to tell me that you think the big metropolis of Ocean Springs, Ms
is not a large enough venue to sell my car?

Okay point well taken.

I looked at a map. You might have to branch out as far as Biloxi - which, I could not help noticing, is right next to Mullet Lake.
If that's not Porsche Country, I don't know what is.

As a take on the old quote, "All politics is local",

"All car-selling is national" - or so it seems these these days. I've bought and sold a lot of cars over the years. 8-10 years ago, people were usually shocked (or suspicious) when you told them you were calling on their ad from out of state. Nowadays nobody is surprised, especially is the car is rare or even somewhat collectable.

perhaps ebay.de would give you the proper exposure with deep pocketed buyers. Hate to see it leave the country, but... it's all about you getting top Euro.
