Just a couple of thoughts, but -- your car has a lot of aftermarket body pieces - if it had a full respray, then it may be just that the finish is much newer and less faded then cars with original paint and ~20 years of UV and weather exposure.
Or I suppose it could depend on the paint manufacturer (i.e. is Glasurit's 'Slate Gray' exaclty the same as PPG's 'Slate Gray'?), how the paint was mixed/reduced, etc.

2. How do you guys attach such large photos without running into the attachment size limit?
1. Don't know.

2. When you resize your images make sure they are 72dpi. You can download free image resizing software as well as use online resizers. You can also use photoshop and as a novice use the "save for web" function that previews the file size while allowing you to see the effect on the quality of the image.

Good advice. If in doubt, check out the quality of photos in all of NinetyOneC2's posts. Additionally, you can use the Preview Post button to get an idea of how your photos will display in a browser.

P.S. 911Jetta - Do you always run with just one wiper? Every little bit helps when saving weight, and I think I remember a thread about your rear wiper delete which I've been considering.

I probably have some strange aesthetic preferences...but all my "mods" can be quickly reversed.

I've removed all exterior stickers and antennas, vinyl wrapped the lights (light gray. 92% vis.), put on smaller Sebring Mach 1 Mirrors by Vitaloni, and now the single wiper...I'm trying to filter all the "extras" out, so just a pure 911 silhouette is visible. I wish I could delete the rain gutters...

Inspiration comes from Rdane (over at Pelican link), R Gruppe cars, and 70's factory cars (on what to delete)...

I would probably do something completely different with a Guards Red car? Plus I'd love a 934 rep...

911s are so much fun!!!!!

My pict is not that good but the color is Stone Grey Metallic. A few shades lighter than the rest. A good color for sure. I am happy I need to download a better pict for my avitar. Also was wondering what you think is the best shot of a Pcar. A wide body from the back for sure but not all the time. I have seen some great picts of widebody from the front at a side angle. Your thoughts would be welcome maybe a thread and shots showing what you think. I need to show this it was on my home page the 10 Sexiest Cars of all time .. The 911 body style is right there
