Funny when I designed the CCU buttons for the 993 I did not check my 964 to see if they are the same.

if you want to try out the 993 buttons you can order them here:
http://www.shapeways.com/shops/Porsche-bits
I have them made at a professional printing shop to improve the quailty of the finish. they are about $6

John, really liking your solution. PM me info to order, might like one for the Targa. What material are you printing?

No. The Vesuvius Metallic (think slate grey mixed with purple) 993 C2S came with steel grey (stahlgrau) rear badge, wheel centres, outside mirrors, door handles, and split grills.

I am printing away , several people expressed interest in an insert . Very grateful for the support on Rennlist.
I am also looking in to how much it would cost to turn this part in to an injection molded part and improve the final quality of it.
So if anyone has contact to a reasonable injection molding company please let me know.
I am afraid with the short run of this insert that it would not be cost effective enough to keep the price down.

Thanks Rennlisters!
