It was for Robin Gibb and The Soldiers. Went rather well, even had time to watch the tunnel vid - gotta love the iphone!
Yes, we'll have to do another drive out there - reckon between us, we could make a right old noise

Robin Gibb hey, that is quite a high profile job. Not a fan myself, but nice one Frank.

Sorry I missed it fellas, looks like it was a great time.

Update on my car...it turns out that I need a rebuild now after all... she made it 21 years and 92.5k miles...so I'm out of any meets until November(ish). Big strain on my wallet and a year or two earlier then I would have liked, but when it is all done, will have the following additions...

6 speed from 993 with short shifter
Single mass RS flywheel
964RS brakes
Bilstein dampers (to go with cargraphic springs already on the car)
New engine - rebuilt to 3.8l with 993RS barrels, pistons, gaskets and Cup cams. Also new 993RS engine mounts to firm things up. And a remap (I already have a Hayward and Scott de-cat sports exhaust and manifolds). Should be looking at 290-300hp and tons more torque (supposedly 45ft lbs or more, and lower in the range)... finally, the shop will clean up the engine bay, new tins etc while they are in there.

Also having the paint refreshed and a few other cosmetic touches, and getting some Xenon headlamps from AP Design because my current ones suck. Should be like a new car! I'll post pics if I can get some from the shop.

Hopefully see everyone in November and I'm definitely up for the Spa/'Ring trip next year!

Ben

Its Saturday 24th !!!

I'll come along for the morning, but not sure if I can stay for the BBQ as I'm also planning to do Windsor the next day. It'd be good to see Peter & Craig again

Yep, that's it - the other end is just supported by the "In" pipe...
