The reason is i have an apartment and business in the Balearic Islands and spent much of the last 10 years there. Since 2008 i have been living back here for the most part of the year and never brought the 64 to blighty , so i decided to have the work done down there with a German Car specialist as there are tons of German expats down there , and those guys are very serious in maintenance. Anyway shes ready now and i was gonna drive her back as the engine has been rebuilt so the 1000km wud have run her in nice but i havernt the time so its waiting to be transported............ hopefully by mid jan .
