CCU Fault Code 16

Default CCU Fault Code 16

Does anyone know this fault code? It is a constant fault for my system.

Do you have the software revision number from the HVAC controller? I think fault code #16 is actually the oil cooler temperature sensor fault code. Its listed as #21 in the workshop manuals.


Oil cooler temp.
sensor
Short to ground or
open circuit short to ground
or open circuit

1. Check resistance between G 18 and G 12.
Specifications: at 60' C 3.6 to 4.0 k.o.
at 85' C 1.4 to 1.6 k.o.
at 100' C 0.9 to 1.0 k.o.

2. Ground must be present at G 18 when the connector is connected.
3. G 12 must not be connected to ground
