Closest I can get to that story is, after buying my first 911, I restored my Fly Yellow 924 the summer before my oldest daughter's Senior year in HS and gave it to her as a present. The high school was only half a block away from our house, but she would drive it to school every day. Sometimes I would notice that student parking on the surrounding streets was so crowded that she would have to park farther away than if she just brought it back/left it in the garage and walked from the house. But it only made me smile.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome.

Well I thought I would have taken delivery of the 964 by now but I haven't had time to break away from work to go buy it. Looks like i will have to wait until the week before Christmas before having an opportunity to go get pick her up. Need to be patient! So, I guess it will be a Christmas gift to myself.
