Same here. Went with the factory RS versions vs. the Wevos. Very pleased, simple install, feel a little more engine vibes but kind of like it, feels more like an early car, not so insulated or remote. Not as fancy looking though at the Wevos with their machined finish.

I don't know how the RS mount, with all the different cuts and washers and spacers is simpler than the Wevo mount, which is a one piece+ bolt unit.

Further, with the Wevo mount, you can get a new "pillow" for $30 and you have a brand new mount.

I have wevo blacks and like them.

Default Engine Mount Update

We just changed the mounts. Used the 993 mounts - purchased them from Sunset Porsche.

The fit is good. We test drove the car -- it appears that the vibration and noise we were experiencing is now gone.

Thanks for everyone's feedback.

Is there a problem using the RS engine mounts in a C4? I have just installed the RS mounts and am noticing a pretty large increase in noise. TIA
