Cool, I had 996 twists on my 993 and loved them. What is the offset and how did you get it to fit?

I'm going to guess it involved a slightly stretched/narrower tire and rolled fenders.

Looks good.

I'm looking forward to hearing the offset

What ride height is that .. both the 'official' measurement and also the guard to the ground?

Hmm I have the set off my TT sitting under my work bench. may try them out and see if they fit. I cant see how the rears would at all without hitting the oil line.

A few photos from a different angle would be nice.

Maybe it looks like this ...

haha,, those are just oem 996tt with 295 tires on them, The oil line has more clearance than with my 19'' wheels

Haven't rolled the fenders but am running about 2 degrees in camber in the back,,,

By the looks of it, it aint gonna rub, but my original plan was to run 265/35 in the back, little stretch

F2 more pictures please. I have aftermarket copies of these wheels waiting for tires to go on this spring. Love the look of your car with either set of wheels.

I know most people hate that look but I've always been a fan. Long as you don't go too overboard it looks okay. Reminds me a bit of my old Miata. I was running a minor stretch and lots of camber to get the wheels to fit.

I like it!

Do the 996 twist only come in an 11" width?

As i own two sets of 996tt wheels, i took one rear from the other set, took the 295 of and installed 265/35/18

Slighty stretched, also installed 8mm spacer to finish the flush look,,, i am so digging these 11'' wheels

Sry,, forgot to take the camera to the garage
