I'm pretty sure that (like with the interior lights), the alarm still trips even when the light itself is out of circuit. Must test it though. Having said that, they'd be hard pressed to open either lid without opening a door first...

Hey John, thanks, you keep finding ways for me to spend even MORE money on my toy, ha ha.

Hi guys, has anyone confirmed if the correct size is 41 or 42mm??? Like you in USA, they won't ship Down Under, but there appear to be plenty of suppliers in Hong Kong doing a varity of sizes like this....

I think this is a case where size doesn't really matter - all these bulbs are held in sprung retainers so a millimetre or so either way shouldn't be a problem.

Just a note of caution for the Cab owners. The interior light (one) is different and the current flow can be reversed dependent on which position is selected.
Good for the other lamps though (fusebox and engine).

Yes, I just realized, these lamps are so cheap I might just buy a few colours and experiment!
