more bumper pictures,,,,,,,,,,,,
Serious it's looking sweet,,I am off to see mine this morning I now have the doors back on ?
Bumpers next couple of days I hope, did you get the mud flaps for the front sills?
I'm using them on mine just to keep the paint chips down on the sill bottom.

been awaiting these updates
its looking awesome, and have to agree with the lower sections in body colour (have the sameon mine) just looks so much better.
also you have probably thought about it but the lower bumper support bolts, are you changing them for stainless bolts? From experience those gold ones corrode in no time.

I shall like to raise an official complaint/objection the standard being set in this build is wholly unacceptable, mere mortals are rushing to the garage contemplating refurbishment and realising in a fit of depression the wholly grail of the land of Norm is beyond reach

I was going to take the trailing arms off this morning for a refurb but I know sitting at eye level with my rubber bumper seals will only cause flashbacks to this thread.

its all deeply disturbing !

That made me laugh... I put new rear lights on mine last year, they do cost a lot for what they are... but when you consider the rest of your project, must be loose change in the grand scheme of things!

Your car is looking great and fantastic attention to detail - I am jealous!

Gaz, anyone can do project their own vehicle if they had time and a bit of spare dosh!?!?! am sure theres a lot of people out there who has gone through this. The OCD stays!

Its daunting to start one job in your case the trailing arms, then the rest begin I tell ya! This is why I though, with this sort of full project you go the whole hog and expect to throw everything to a pile sieving throught the parts expecting a lot of rusted perish stuff to be scrapped

If you start, you wont stop!

Am not FUCH, am not looking or gunna count how much I've spent, am enjoying the process and the moment. But what a journey! Its been a while, especially at the beginning when everything is near off and a pile of rusty, oily bits stare at you on such winters days.

Whatever its cost, 1/3 it then tell the misses!

Paul, everything counts, and the lights and the rest aren't cheap shall I say! So dont do such project if your gunna try and save!

Is it me or do I see some crazing in the light new lens?

See the crazing on the dark strip just below the light section in middle?

Tell me if am getting carried away with taking photos of lights and bumpers! Trying to take photos of every inch of the car!

See the vents (Black trim on top) are vents for the lights to stop condensation, if these are obstructed by a rubber seal moisture gets trapped.
