Spent the weekend in Newport RI. It was parents weekend for my girlfriend's daughter's college. Weather was perfect. Took the 964. Spent most of the day sitting on bleachers (first a football game, the second a hockey game). Did I mention that bleachers are not that comfortable?

Sunday, we took a nice walk, seeing some of the historic mansions. Next trip, we plan to set aside time to take the official mansion tours. Sunday evening a friend returned my air compressor. I had lent it to him to help paint his car (Lexus). The car is finished and looks great. He offered to help me paint my GF's Honda Civic hood and bumper next spring. The car had an accident 7 years ago and the replacement hood is rusting badly. The previous body shop didn't do a good job on prep. I wasn't expecting anything in return but maybe I will take him up on his offer. Good deeds seem to be reworded.

Cool pics. Went to the Coronado Speed Fest on Sunday. Great Porsche turn out as usual and some very close racing. Would def. recommend if you are into vintage racing or cars in general.

oh yeah- Saturday morning I spent 2 hrs at the Verizon store getting my new android-based phone. Got a Samsung Fascinate for me and the Mrs. Now I have to learn about widgets and launchers and quadrant scores
