Default Pics of 964's re-upholstered.

Hi guys!,

I'm thinking in re-upholster my interior in full leather, the car really don't need it, but it will look really better. I will change my carpet too.

Could you put some pics of 964 re-upholstered in full leather?

Regards!

Try this company. They very often have what you are looking for at reasonable prices. I have bought a lot off parts here, so I can highly recommend them…….

This is a recent full re-trim on a 3.2 targa, including full leather seats (including the rears), door cards, dash and centre console. New carpets and a mo-hair targa roof were also fitted.

Result was a factory fresh interior, i didn't even dare to sit in it afterwards!!

My trimmer imported the correct perforated leather from Germany for the seat centers (which took about 3 weeks to arrive). We also used this to re-trim the rear seats to replace the factory (leather look) vinyl, along with red piping to match the front's. We had to make brand new door cards from scratch as the 25 year old originals virtually fell appart when we stripped them! I still think the linen carpets were a mistake though, they looked fantastic when finished, but will be a nightmare to keep clean!

Not sure if I have any pictures of that dash, I will see if I have any 964 pics.

The previous owner re-did my linen interior in 08, and while the workmanship was very good, he used cheap leather. So now, the colour on the side bolsters is rubbing off.

Was it original Porsche leather that you used? Looks very good. I have black piping on mine, and the carpets are all black. Your's looks better, but mine would be easier to clean, agreed.

Yes leather was genuine porsche and took a while to arrive, but was worth wait & expense. I tried to talk the owner into black carpets, but he wanted it as it originally came from the factory in linen.

Default 964 new leather seats

I am going to have my seats recovered. I want the exact leather that originally came in the car, then I will have a local shop do the labor. Can anyone recommend an unholstery shop in Texas (or nearby states) that they have used to re-do seat covers?

BTW - beautiful work on the red interior.
