Driven quite a few 964s (and 3.2 Carreras, couple SCs, GT3s........) and already want. But the model I want, a 964RS, won't be in my garage for a while.
I would really like to compare a well cared for, mega-mile car to a more average mileage, equally cared for car of the same generation.

Run away, he states that the motor was rebuilt within the last 1000 miles, and then goes on to state that there is a leak on the crank seal, and at the valve covers.
Not a professional job, and probably won't last long. This would be a good car to stay away from.

Think of this another way.. his long list of repairs might be a decent future roadmap of what to expect as our cars age... Mine is almost at 200K... so it's nice to know what's ahead...

Probably a bit of a "Triggers broom".
For those not in the UK there is a sketch where trigger claims he has had the same broom from new but has only replaced the handle three times and the brush head four times.
I'm sure at that mileage there won't be much original car left.

I think I'm most impressed of all that the A/C kinda still works.
I agree that there is a bottom price for any 964 that is running, driving, "straight", & mostly "all there", but it is way down there IMO. This price is laughable, but what would be the right price? Half that? Not for me. It's had some interesting upgrading done to it along the way but I agree with the "metal fatigue" take on this. And too many good examples out there for a lot less dough.

Done that with my RSA. Still have the 44K odo from the wrecked race car, plugged it in for the weekend of the Monterey Historics last year when the car had about 138K on it. Absolutely HILARIOUS to hear the comments about how it was such a nice, low mileage example, blah blah blah.
