Just got my 89 C4 a few days ago and have been unable to identify the wheels on it. Not sure of width but they are 16's. thanks

They look very much like standard 16" Design 92 (i.e. Cup 1) wheels. They were factory standard from 1992 with the Turbo's 17" variety an option. The 16" wheels were 6J (F) and 8J (R) - all with 52mm offset.

Regards

Dave

+1

Those are the wheels on mine. I finished them in black and they look great. I do not do any racing so the 16" wheels are nice for my driving.

Yup, the original wheels for my 93. Replaced with Cups and in my basement for as long as I own the car. (Re: a long time.)

I have the same design wheels on my '90 C2. I bought them as a second set for autocrossing with "R" tires. Though my fronts are 7 x ET55. These wheels were also used on the 968.
