Not sure I understand your post. Windshields are a a replacement item. I replace them whenever there is too much pitting. I think I paid $175 for my last one on the RSA.

Frank:

Please reveal your source. I paid $650 fitted for a new German Windshield plus new seal spring of 09' on my RS America race car. I'll probably need to replace it again at the end of the 11' season.

Installed on 7/28/2008 Wisefly Auto Glass in Norco, CA (951) 479-1586. Installation, which included the seals was $75. It is a 911 windshield without the antenna (my car has no radio). Very little pitting as of today.

Interesting my installer couldn't even find an aftermarket shield without an antenna.

That' s an unbelievable bargain ... the seal alone is worth more than $75. Am I missing something?

Old 911 screens are a different size, they fit but need the old rubber as well.
May be they fitted the older smaller screen, they do go in but they aint right?
Ive never seen a 964 screen without an antenne in the glass.

all star glass quoted me $248 with instalation, OE glass, with antenna for $248. OE is original equipment... seems like a fair price to me? My window has more pits than a crate of cherries.
